Directions for use:
Spread the bark chips on the base of the terraria/vivarium to create a layer to the depth of approx. 1-2'' (5-6cm). Mist the substarte until the desired humidity has been achieved. The use of a hygrometer is advised, allowing you to safely monitor humidity levels. The small chip-size of this bark allows for great heat conductivity even when dry.  Substarte should be spot cleaned regularly, this may mean a daily basis for some species. For intermediate cleaning, substarte should be rinsed in hot water. Completely replace with new substarte every 8 weeks or earlier if necessary.
